Overview:

Readies and maintains financial and business transactions, applying accounting principles that include work that is analytical, evaluative, and advisory in nature and that requires an understanding of both accounting theory and practice. Requires a bachelor degree in accounting with 0-2 years’ experience in the field.

Summary of Position:

• Work under the supervision of CPAs including, the accounting manager, controller, and CFO.
• Responsible for preparation of account analysis and General Ledger reconciliations.
• Assisting with the preparation of payroll and related reports utilizing ADP.
• Assisting in the preparation of internal and external financial statements.
• Assisting in the annual audit of the company’s financial statements and employee benefit plans.
• Preparation of weekly sales dashboard.
• Develops and implements accounting procedures by analyzing current procedures; recommending changes
• Responsible for assisting in period closings.

Education, Experience and Skills Required:

• A Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
• Must be highly skilled in dealing with financial and numeric data.
• Proficient in Microsoft Suite with heavy emphasis in Excel.
• Strong verbal and written communications skills.
• Ability to work with all levels and departments within the organization including, sales, operations and administration.
• 0-2 years’ experience in accounting is required.
